Shoot free throws, help fund scholarships for Palatine school

The public is invited to take part in Shoot for Scholarships, a fundraiser for need-based tuition assistance for students attending Immanuel Lutheran School in Palatine.

The event will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the school, 200 N. Plum Grove Road. It’s sponsored by the Immanuel Lutheran School Educational Foundation, with a donation from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Participants will get 10 free throw attempts, and Thrivent Financial will donate money for each successful shot.
