School bus crashes into central Indiana home
CARMEL, Ind. — A school bus rumbled through the backyard of a suburban Indianapolis home and crashed into the side of the house.
Carmel schools spokeswoman Tricia Reynolds tells WISH-TV that no students were on the bus when the crash happened about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. She says the driver was being taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but she didn’t immediately know what caused the crash.
The bus went off a street in the northern Indianapolis suburb and into the house facing a cul-de-sac. The impact tore bricks and guttering off the garage side of the house.
