Howthorne Woods police host annual bike rodeo Saturday

Hawthorn Woods police are hosting their annual bike rodeo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Community Park, at the northwest corner of Quentin Road and Old McHenry Road.

Participants in the free event will learn about bicycle safety. Bicycle helmets, safety inspections, hot dogs, ice cream, refreshments and a DJ will on hand to entertain visitors. McGruff the Crime Dog also will attend.
