Bicyclist struck and killed in Wisconsin

MOSINEE, Wis. — A woman biking in Mosinee has died after she was hit by a car.

Marathon County Sheriff’s Lt. Dale Wisnewski tells WSAW-TV the 38-year-old woman was biking on a county highway when she was struck Wednesday. He says the bicyclist was unresponsive when paramedics arrived at the scene.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, which is standard procedure.
