Storms force cancellation of Loyalty Day parade in Batavia

Organizers today canceled the 38th annual Loyalty Day Parade in Batavia because of lightning producing storms moving through the region.

The parade, typically one of the largest in the area, honors all branches of the military. There was no immediate news on a possible rescheduled date for the parade.
