London Middle School 8th Graders organize Summer Reading Program for School

8th graders on Team Force at London Middle School in Wheeling have created a school wide summer reading program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The goal is for all students to have read at least one book over the summer. To educate the community about this goal, students developed a recommended reading list, school website, power point, and mural. In addition, students did presentations for the incoming 6th graders and the current 7th and 8th graders. A summer reading buddy program will also take place where Team Force students will read to students attending summer school. London Middle School is excited to achieve their goal of every student reading at least book before the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.
