Report: White Sox adding Brebbia to bullpen

The White Sox are adding a needed veteran reliever to their bullpen. Right-hander John Brebbia, who has pitched for the Giants and Cardinals over his six-year career, has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $4 million contract. Pending a physical, the deal includes a $6 million mutual option for 2025 with a $1.5 million buyout. The 33-year-old Brebbia was 3-5 with a 3.99 ERA in 40 games for San Francisco last season. For his career he is 15-15 with a 3.42 ERA and 2 saves.
