Prospect Heights adds two part-time officers

Two newly hired part-time police officers were sworn in Tuesday in Prospect Heights.

The officers are Christopher Skeet, a former educator, former marine and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Jason Rogers, who graduated from Western Illinois University in 2010 with a degree in law enforcement and criminal justice before interning with the Romeoville police department.

The two new officers will next attend a 12-week training program in Springfield before returning to Prospect Heights for duty.
