Join planting at Native Medicinal Garden in Lords Park

On Saturday, May 26, Hanover Township will present a plaque honoring Lords Park for Preservation Month. In conjunction, the Elgin Public Museum will install the Native Medicinal Garden, featuring plants that Native peoples used for healing the sick and maintaining health. Discover these plants and their uses. Stick around and get your hands dirty helping them plant this newest garden.

The Native Medicinal Garden will be installed at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26. Meet at the Elgin Public Museum, 225 Grand Blvd. located in Elgin's Lords Park. The event is free to the public.
