Fish, Verkler merit all-American honors

Grayslake North’s AJ Fish and Libertyville’s Kevin Verkler were among 11 players from Illinois chosen all-American, the Illinois High School Lacrosse Association announced.

Fish was also named first team all-state and first team all-conference. Grayslake North’s Brendan Walker and Matt Schlagetter were named second team all-conference, and their teammates Ben Smith and David Collins were selected honorable mention all-conference.
