How District 207 will begin search for next superintendent

The Maine Township High School District 207 board will hold a special meeting Wednesday to interview search firms it could hire to help them find the next superintendent.

The meeting is set for 12:15 p.m. at Maine South High School, 1111 S. Dee Road, Park Ridge.

Superintendent Ken Wallace announced in June that he is retiring at the end of the 2023-24 school year. He has had the job since 2009 and is the longest-serving superintendent in district history.
