<h3 class="briefHead">Schools grateful for work of SCARCE</h3>

At a time when education funds are being cut to the bone, SCARCE (School & Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education) is providing valuable service to our children and schools.

This organization maintains a warehouse of recycled books, textbooks and other supplies for classrooms where teachers can go “shop” for free supplies, thus keeping these reusable items out of landfills.

Our school received two class sets of science textbooks and many other books and supplies. It’s a win-win situation. Thanks, SCARCE! Keep up the good work!
