Award-winning filmmaker screens documentary in Des Plaines
Filmmaker Jon Siskel will screen his award-winning documentary film “Louder Than A Bomb” at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St.
“Louder Than A Bomb” follows four Chicago area high school poetry teams as they prepare for and compete in the world’s largest youth slam. The film has won 17 festival prizes, including 10 audience awards. For more information about the film, visit louderthanabombfilm.com.
