Jackie Kennedy’s Secret Service agent coming to Naperville

Clint Hill, the Secret Service agent responsible for the safety of first lady Jacqueline Kennedy, will be in Naperville this month promoting his book, “Mrs. Kennedy and Me: An Intimate Memoir.”

Hill, who was assigned to Mrs. Kennedy from the time John Kennedy was elected president until Lyndon Johnson was sworn in, will appear with his co-author, Lisa McCubbin, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Anderson’s Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave.

The event is free but priority numbers to reserve your place in the book signing line are available with the purchase of the book.

“Mrs. Kennedy and Me” offers a firsthand account of the Kennedy era, from the most glamorous moments to the president’s assassination in Dallas. Hill retired from the Secret Service in 1975.
