Palatine to host Firefighter Blood Donor Challenge on April 27

The Palatine Fire Department has teamed with the village’s Board of Health and Medical Reserve Corps to host a Firefighter Blood Donor Challenge from noon to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Palatine Fire Station No. 84, 220 W. Illinois Ave.

A barbecue will be held to thank all donors. LifeSource, Chicagoland’s Blood Center, will host the drive. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are always welcome.
