Google’s Gabriel Stricker leaves to run Twitter’s communications

Google Inc.’s Gabriel Stricker, who served as director of global communications and public affairs, is leaving the company to become vice president of communications at Twitter Inc.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Twitter -- and thankful for my time at Google,” Stricker said today in a Twitter message.
