5 students earn Mustang Pride at Mundelein H.S.

Five Mundelein High School students earned Mustang Pride awards for March, which were presented at a breakfast in their honor recently hosted by Principal Lauren Fagel. Each student was nominated for the award by a member of the faculty.

Counselor Gwen Lopez nominated two students: Juana Guzman-Gonzalez for Service to Others and Kelly Klaus for Academic Improvement and Academic Persistence. Instructor Sandy Weir also nominated two students: Brittany Leach for Academic Persistence, Unsolicited Good Deeds and Leadership; and Nicolette Bautista for Service to Others, Unsolicited Good Deeds and Leadership. Family/Consumer Science Instructor Rachelle Halbur nominated Jack Craven for Leadership.

Mustang Pride awards are presented each month to students in a number of categories to students who have demonstrated extraordinary efforts in their commitment to Mundelein High School.
