It was another violent weekend in Chicago, with at least nine people shot overnight.
Police say four of the shooting victims were hit outside a club on the city’s West Side about 3 a.m. Sunday. They told police a man who had been denied entry to the Supper Club came back later and opened fire, hitting them as they were leaving. They say they did not know the gunman. The four were hospitalized in serious condition.
Elsewhere, a man in his 20s was found shot to death inside an apartment in the Little Village neighborhood. Police say that shooting could be related to a running conflict between area gangs.
The other shootings, which wounded their victims, took place in East Garfield Park, the South Side and the North Side.
