BACOA presents summer, fall tours

@Biz Ledger Coffee answers:The Barrington Area Council on Aging has scheduled several tours for the summer and fall of 2012.

BACOA and Diamond Travel have two trips planned. The Niagara Falls and Toronto trip departs Sunday, June 17. The seven-day tour includes four nights in Niagara Falls, guided tours of the falls and Toronto, gaming at Fallsview Casino and a tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Transportation is via motor coach. Cost is $659 per person, double occupancy.

Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains Show Trip is scheduled for Oct. 7. The seven-day tour includes four nights in the Smokies, six shows, a guided tour of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and tours of historic sites. Transportation is via motor coach. Cost is $615 per person, double occupancy.

BACOA and Protravel International are offering the Southern Italy and Sicily tour, which departs Thursday, Oct. 25. The 12-day tour includes stops at Palermo, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and much more. A four-night post-tour trip to Malta is offered as well. Cost is $3,699 per person, double occupancy until April 25; $3,799 after.
