Earth Day expo

Families can receive free tips and education in eco-friendly innovation from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at Earth Day 2012 Expo throughout the Gurnee Mills mall, 6170 W. Grand Ave., Gurnee. The annual event presented by Great Lakes Credit Union, features kids-friendly eco-friendly crafts. Local businesses will offer interactive displays and exhibits, detailing their efforts to maximize clean energy, conserve water and recycle with eco-friendly products.
