Lakes’ Snyder nets IBCA honor
Lakes boys basketball coach Chris Snyder will be honored at Illinois Basketball Coaches Association hall of fame banquet as District 6 co-coach of the year.
Snyder will be honored Saturday, April 28 in Bloomington.
“This is quite an honor as this award is given out by Coach Snyder’s peers,” Lakes athletic director Troy Parola said.
In just his second year at the helm, Snyder coached the Eagles to a 20-11 record and berth in the Grayslake Central sectional championship game.
Round Lake sports hall of fame: The fifth annual Round Lake High Scool athletic hall of fame banquet and induction ceremony will take place Saturday, May 12 at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
