Hampshire Village President honors Kane County group with proclamation

The members of the Hampshire-Henpeck Home and Community Education Unit recently witnessed the signing of the 2012 proclamation by Hampshire Village President Jeff Magnussen in commemoration of the Kane County Association for Home and Community Education.

Hampshire-Henpeck members attended the International/New Member meeting and luncheon at the Advent Christian Church in Aurora. Featured islands for this presentation were Trinidad and Tobago with entertainment by the Pastiche Steel Ensemble.

The Hampshire-Henpeck Unit’s Christmas meeting will be at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at a member’s home. Brunch will be served. Gifts will be wrapped for distribution to needy families in the Hampshire area.
