Reports: Bears sign two WR vets, QB Peterman

The Bears have signed two veteran wide receivers and a backup quarterback, according to reports published Wednesday.

WSCR 670-AM reported Tajae Sharpe, who played with the Falcons last year, will sign a one-year deal. Sharpe has 1,389 yards and 8 touchdowns in 66 games. The Score also reported the Bears have signed Dante Pettis, who caught 10 passes for 87 yards and 1 touchdown last season for the Giants.

NBC Sports earlier reported that former Raiders quarterback Nate Peterman, a third-stringer, will join a QB corps that includes Justin Fields and Trevor Siemian.
