Barrington rider wins 3 show jumping events

Barrington’s Lauren Tisbo recorded three victories with three different horses at the Old Salem Spring Horse Show II.

The jumping tournament, held at Old Salem, N.Y., was the first competition since the winter season for Tisbo, who is riding for Tequestrian Farms in Wellington, Fla.

Tisbo notched her first victory of the week in the 1.40-meter competition, riding King Kolibri on May 16. She logged her second victory the following day, riding La Centa in the High Junior/Amateur-Owner competition. She then topped off the week with a win riding Welinde in the Low Junior/Amateur competition on May 18, her 28th birthday.

Next up for Tisbo are five consecutive weeks of competition beginning June 6 at the Spruce Meadows show jumping venue in Calgary, Alberta.
