Hoffman Code Enforcement to answer your remodeling questions

In conjunction with the village of Hoffman Estates’ “Coffee with the Board” on Saturday, April 21, the Code Enforcement Division will be available to answer questions on building permits, home improvement projects, energy assessments, backflow prevention recertification and property maintenance from 9:30 a.m. to noon at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

Meet inspectors, pick up educational handouts and learn how to save up to 30 percent on your energy bills.

The village of Hoffman Estates supports the International Code Council Foundations Building Safety Month, which is May.

Then, at 10 a.m., join the Hoffman Estates Village Board in the village hall council chambers for an informal forum designed to provide a relaxed setting where you can speak with Mayor McLeod and the board of trustees. Residents are invited to express opinions, ask questions and provide input on items of interest in their community. Coffee, of course, will be served.
