Hear what some Kane County candidates have to say at League fo Women Voters forum

The League of Women Voters will hold a candidate forum from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Dundee Township Senior Center, off Route 25, north of Route 68, Carpentersville.
Those invited to speak at this forum are contenders for the following Kane County positions: for Circuit Clerk, Thomas Hartwell and Edmund Nendick; for County Recorder, Sandy Wegman and Brenda Rodgers; for County Auditor, Terry Hunt and Julie Fox; for Coroner, Rob Russell and Tao Martinez; for Kane County Board Chairman, Chris Lauzen and Sue Klinkhamer; for state’s attorney, Joseph McMahon.
In addition, candidates for the following local county board districts will be heard: for County Board 21, Rebecca Gillam and Darren Parochelli; for County Board 23, Margaret Auer and Kevin Smith; and for County Board 24, Joseph Haimann.
