The Rams finished with 10 hits, including a home run by Jamie Brew. She drove in a total of 3 runs. Sarah Kuligowski had 2 hits, including a double while Claire Brennan also had a double.
Winning pitcher Tayler Janda went the distance and rolled up 5 strikeouts without allowing a walk.
Carmel 7, St. Viator 3: Carmel scored 6 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally from a 3-1 deficit.
Kathleen Felicelli led the way with 3 hits while teammates Kelley Dodge, Amy Abel and Jenny Behan each had 2 hits apiece.
Antioch 17, Round Lake 1: Antioch was up 15-0 by the end of the second inning.
Sage Keyes and Katie Phillips each homered for the Sequoits, who pounded out 12 hits.
Keyes and Phillips finished with 2 hits apiece, as did Amber Mysliwiec and Mackenzie Thomas.
Phillips also got the pitching win. She had 3 strikeouts and no walks in two innings.
Grayslake North 7, Hampshire 0: Winning pitcher Kristina Gandy racked up 13 strikeouts and gave up only 1 hit as the Knights were also hot at the plate.
Grayslake North rolled up 10 hits, including 2 hits apiece from Jordyn Bowen, Kaley Buchman and Gandy.
Mundelein 2, Libertyville 1: Winning pitcher Molly Ellott went seven innings. She helped her cause at the plate with a double.
Maddie Zazas also had a double for the Mustangs, who improve to 4-8.
Stevenson 15, Lake Forest 5: In a slugfest that included 29 total hits, Stevenson still got a big victory.
The Patriots out-hit Lake Forest 19-10, thanks to a perfect 4-for-4 performance from Maggie Thon and 3 hits apiece out of Lexi Yonkovic, Cailin Rubenstein and Kat Trotter. Yonkovic and Thon each had home runs while Rubenstein and Lora Horwitz had triples and Trotter and Thon had doubles.
