Carmel 12, St. Viator 3: Freshman Jenny Behan belted a home run and went 3-for-5 with 4 RBI, as the host Corsairs won the East Suburban Catholic Conference contest.

Nicole Bitter threw 5 innings for the win and helped herself at the plate with 3 hits in as many at-bats and 2 RBI. Carmel got 2 hits apiece from Kelley Dodge, Amy Abel and Kathleen Felicelli (4 runs scored). Sally Snarski had a double and 3 RBI.

Woodstock North 6, Grayslake Central 0: The Thunder led the Fox Valley Conference game 5-0 after two innings.

Grayslake Central had only 1 hit.
