Chamber to show “Willy Wonka” on Sunday in downtown Palatine
The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will present “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” at dusk Sunday, Aug. 21 on the side of the Harris Bank building, 50 N. Brockway St., Palatine.
Family friendly activities including a Baggo tournament, storytelling, face painting, crafts and games will start at 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Pizza and beer will be available for purchase.
The free event is part of the chamber’s “Chillin’ in Palatine” community art initiative, which also features painted wooden ice chests on display throughout the village.;http://palatinechamber.com/[URL][/URL]
