Job hunting classes at Cook library
Openings for free job hunting classes at the Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, are still available. Basics of Online Job Searching will be Sept. 10 and Oct. 8; Building an Effective Resume and Cover Letter is Sept. 17 and Oct. 15; and Interview Skills Workshop is Sept. 24 and Oct. 22. The dates are all Mondays and the classes are 1 to 3 p.m. Registration for the first two classes is limited to eight people. Call (847) 362-2330 or visit webres.cooklib.org. The classes are focused on building computer skills for a greater advantage when applying for jobs over the Internet.
