Naperville Park District issues its first-ever holiday e-greeting

For the Naperville Park District, wishing a happy holiday season to the community won't involve printing labels, stuffing envelopes or using the postage machine. Instead, holiday wishes will be sent as quickly and easily as a mouse click.

The District's electronic holiday greeting will be sent this week to its registered customers, e-mail subscribers, community partners and business associates. It also will be posted to the Park District's website and Facebook page.

“Over the past couple of years, the District has been very active in identifying and implementing environmentally-friendly initiatives and this e-card is very much in line with those efforts,” explained Ray McGury, executive director of the Naperville Park District. “And with our frequent use of e-mail, social media and our website, it just made sense for us to send the Park District's good wishes in this manner.”
