“Try the Y” day passes now available at Taylor YMCA

The Taylor Family YMCA at 50 N. McLean in Elgin is now offering an easy way to take the doldrums out of the waning months of winter.

“We’re offering two types of days passes — one for adults and one for families,” said Birdie Bednarski, associate operations executive at Taylor Y.”

“Adults can purchase an eight-visit pass for only $40,” Bednarski said. “That’s just $5 a visit for full use of the facilities including the pool.”

For families, an eight-pass card is only $56, or just $7 per family per visit

“Either way,” she said, “it’s a great entertainment bargain and a fun way to brighten up a cold winter day.”
