Welcome to the USSA
The USSR is dead!
The USSA in being born!
It seems we never learn from history. Every place in the world socialism has been tried, it failed. Taken to its logical conclusion, failure makes sense.
In the USSR living standards, under socialism, never increased. Product distribution was never a priority, so perpetual shortages were their normal. The day the Soviet Union collapsed, some 80 years after the revolution, their citizens lived just as they did when the czar was deposed.
Under the capitalist system, citizens rose above their meager beginnings and our standard of living was the best in the civilized world. We were paid what our labor was worth, to the person or company that employed us.
Over the same 80 years, foreigners immigrated to our shores and have yearned for their homeland and its system of Marxist government. When they saw those systems collapsing from lack of initiative, the Marxists modified their desire slightly.
They have gotten positions in government, academia and some churches, so they can dictate a new improved socialism.
They saw central planning was a failure, so they decided to let business owners think they still own the businesses, and they just take the lion’s share of the profits and call it taxation.
We are allowed to own our homes, but the property taxes are so oppressive it is like we are renting from all the taxing bodies.
The old Marxists are now saying they are not socialists, because socialism means the means of production is owned by the government and they turn a deeper shade of red when it is pointed out that the new socialism is the old fascism, a not too distant cousin of communism.
We are being given a choice. Cut our throats with a sharp knife or a dull knife. Some choice, huh?
