Habitat presents benefit concert on April 5

Submitted by Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley presents James Otto in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way in Elgin. He will be joined by his good friend and Algonquin native, Matt Vrba.

Otto is a country music star with a powerful voice that draws you in even if you are not a country music fan.

James Otto may be 100 percent country but he also has a heart full of soul. James has played for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait and is showing his big heart again by helping Habitat for Humanity raise funds.

Support Habitat for Humanity by joining us for an evening of country music. Tickets are now available for the April 5 show and can be purchased at www.hemmens.org. Ticket prices range from $20 to $40.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that transforms lives through affordable homeownership. Habitat rehabs and builds homes for low-income families and upon completion sells the homes at no profit with interest-free financing. Home building labor costs are kept down by the generous involvement of thousands of construction volunteers.

Concert proceeds will help build homes locally. For information on Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley, visit www.habitatnfv.org.
