The Elgin Public Museum will present “It’s Elemental Science Night” from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9. What do gold, oxygen, sulfur and uranium have in common? They’re all elements. Explore the Periodic Table of Elements with different stations set up around the museum for kids and their families to discover the elements through hands-on activities, demonstrations and experiments.
The program costs $2 per person; museum members are admitted free. The museum is located in Elgin’s Lords Park at 225 Grand Blvd. No registration is necessary for this drop-in program. For details, call (847) 741-6655 or email epm@cityofelgin.org. Visit elginpublicmuseum.org.
