Knocking on doors, hearing concerns

As a resident of Aurora for 43 years, I was saddened to see the nasty and false personal attacks sent in the mail by one candidate in the state representative campaign. In her desperation, she has resorted to discussing 20-year old speeding tickets instead of the issues that matter most: creating jobs, lowering taxes and improving schools.

Instead of attacking his opponents, Alex Arroyo has knocked on more than 5,000 doors, listening to people’s concerns. Alex was born and raised in the district and is the only candidate who lives in the district. Alex is an active lifelong member of St. Therese Church and has been involved in our community his entire life.

He is an independent Democrat whose campaign is not being funded by Springfield insiders. He will fight for all of us in Springfield. Please join me in voting for Alex Arroyo for state representative on March 20.
