Chicago schedules Bike to Work Week

Chicago’s Bike to Work Week will take place from June 11 to 15.

Events will include a bike tour of the downtown Loop and presentations of Chicago’s plans to become one of the nation’s most bike-friendly cities.

The week concludes with the Bike to Work Rally in downtown’s Daley Plaza.

The events are part of Bike Chicago 2012, which promotes the city’s cycling culture.

Chicago is also set to begin a bike-sharing program in June.
