Life experience key in 10th District
The two main candidates for 10th District in Congress in this election I believe to be are Ilya Sheyman and Brad Schneider. Out of these two candidates, I believe Brad Schneider would be the better candidate to go against Bob Dold.
Brad Schneider, I believe is more suited for this position because of his business background and his age.
His business background ensures me that he has the ability to make difficult decisions at difficult times and will always be looking out for the people of the 10th congressional district.
His age vs. Ilya’s age also tells me that he is more experienced for this position than Ilya Sheyman. Most people believe that with age comes wisdom (for this very reason is why senators must be at least 30 years of age) and I also believe this is true.
Ilya hasn’t lived to see the things Brad has seen. If a conflict were to arise similar to one that had occurred 35 years ago, how would Ilya deal with it? Brad has lived to see more problems, thus meaning that he has seen more resolutions to problems.
These candidates basically stand on the same foot for most issues so why wouldn’t we choose to elect the more experienced candidate?
