2012 Chefs’ Fest relocates to Schaumburg Convention Center

Chefs’ Fest 2012, the 19th annual food and beverage celebration and hospitality showcase produced by the Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau, returns from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg.

Chefs’ Fest 2012 is a multifaceted event featuring food and beverage samples, wine and beer demonstrations and live entertainment. Between 80 and 100 exhibitors are expected to participate.

Scheduled demonstrations include “Experience Bourbon,” “Beer 101,” and “Wines of the Midwest.” The event also will feature live acoustic entertainment.

Nonperishable food donations will be accepted for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Tickets, on sale now at ChefsFest.com, cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Attendees are encouraged to purchase in advance since attendance is limited. Parking is free.
