Obama has taken steps to repair economy

Are you concerned about what you hear during the Republican Primary? You should be! Candidates accuse and insult each other during debates and in the media (the only credible one, Huntsman, left the primary after New Hampshire). The primaries should present the voters with facts, changes to be made and goals (nationwide and worldwide), but they call each other liars instead of showing respect.

Yes, the Republicans don’t have a promising field of candidates to run against President Obama. A few months ago Mr. Donald Trump pointed out all weak points of Mitt Romney, and he even said that if he thought the primary winner could not beat President Obama he was considering running as an independent.

Time magazine of Feb. 13 had a story about the collapse of our economy in the fall of 2008 and what this administration has done so far and continues doing. The story explains how Mr. Preet Bharara, U.S. Attorney of the Southern District of New York, has tried 56 cases involving traders on Wall Street and has won all 56, while seven cases are still pending. Some are in prison and others are headed there.

During the State of the Union address, the president mentioned about holding those who contributed to the collapse responsible. A lot of those people have become rich, and to top it off a billionaire now endorses a multimillionaire whose concerns are not the poor because they have a safety net. Maybe this endorsement came so fast because the president, if re-elected, could bring to an end one or more of their monopolies. That would be a welcome thing for the average citizen and, hopefully, the unemployment will come down with it.

I hope that voters will be thinking about what is best for the country.
