Union Pacific gives Arlington Hts. 125th grant
Nine not-for-profits will get trains for artists to decorate. The Arlington Heights Quasquicentennial Committee has purchased these trains with a $12,500 grant from Union Pacific and invited local not-for-profits to apply to get them. The winners will learn who they are by the end of the week that they. Companies and individuals also sponsored the trains, which they will decorate and then display this summer. The project is similar to Ponies on Parade in 2000.
