Helping to Stamp Out Hunger

On behalf of the volunteers of FISH Food Pantry, I would like to thank the residents of Carpentersville, East Dundee, West Dundee and Sleepy Hollow who were so generous for the “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive conducted by the letter carriers union in partnership with the U.S. Postal Service on May 12.

The real beneficiaries, of course, are the 425 families, more than 2,100 individuals, who visit our food pantry each month.

Your generosity will go a long way toward helping us make it through the summer, which is our most challenging time of the year. With the children out of school, they no longer receive free breakfasts and lunches so our families’ needs are greater.

We sincerely appreciate your generosity in helping us in our mission “to feed the hungry.”
