Free Milwaukee area buses on St. Patrick’s Day

MILWAUKEE — There will be free bus service in Milwaukee County again this year on St. Patrick’s Day.

Miller Lite, Milwaukee County Transit and Beer Capitol Distributing are sponsoring the free bus service starting at 6 p.m. Saturday.

It’s for all Milwaukee County routes and will be offered until the end of regular service.

Transit system spokeswoman Jacqueline Janz says the program is in its 19th year and offers a safe way to get home from celebrations.
