Heading into Tuesday's game at Milwaukee, they had won six of seven contests, while beating just one team with a winning record — Utah in four overtimes Sunday. SG Joe Johnson is averaging 19.3 points, with SF Josh Smith at 18.2. C Al Horford is still out with a torn pectoral muscle. Ex-Bulls SG Jannero Pargo went out with appendicitis but is hoping to return soon. The Bulls are 2-1 against the Hawks, losing in Atlanta 109-94 on Jan. 7.
