NAFRE to celebrate holidays at Grand Victoria luncheon

Join members of the Greater Fox Valley Chapter 2181 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees as they celebrate 25 years in the greater Fox Valley area.
This year’s holiday luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Indulge Kitchen Buffet at the Grand Victoria Casino, 250 S. Grove Ave. in Elgin. Cost for the lunch buffet is $15.14 for seniors and $16.23 for members or friends under 65 years of age; pricing includes all beverages and tax. Guests are welcome.
Valet parking is free to handicapped drivers, otherwise Valet parking is $5. General casino parking lots are free to public.
The guest speaker will be Ken Thompson, account executive of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois. He will highlight changes and improvement in the 2014 Blue Cross/Blue Shields Service Benefit Plan, Federal Employee Program. Plan to attend this informative and enjoyable special presentation.
There will be prizes and raffles. A special raffle will raise money for Alzheimer’s disease research. The prize is an “Angel Doll.” Raffle tickets are five for $5. The minimum is $5. The winner will be drawn at the end of the luncheon. The “Angel Doll” will be on display during the luncheon for your viewing.
Also, in the spirit of the holiday, bring a gift to exchange, with a value of $5.
