Parent University in Libertyville D70

Common Core Standards, researching on the Internet, word skills, and using interactive whiteboards are among the topics to be discussed on April 4 at the first Parent University offered by Libertyville Elementary District 70. The session is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Butterfield School, 1441 W. Lake St. The event will begin with a presentation on Common Core Standards, newly adopted in Illinois for English/language arts and mathematics. Parents then will move to their choice of sessions. Registration for the Parent University is on the district website and the school websites.
