Libertyville Jr. Woman's Club hosts a day at the Derby May 5

Libertyville, IL - The Junior Woman's Club of Libertyville will be hosting a fabulous event to benefit the Lexi Kazian Foundation: "Horses, Hats & High Stakes: A Day at the Derby" at Arlington Park Race Course from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 5.

The Lexi Kazian Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit foundation dedicated to improving the comfort and quality of life for children with special needs. This is accomplished by providing education, therapy and playground equipment, therapy toys, resources and scholarships for families and therapists in need of financial assistance and/or community support.

The afternoon at Arlington will include, silent auctions, high stakes, and a lovely luncheon with bar that will include a charity bourbon tasting. And ladies, don't forget to wear your Derby Day HAT! We will have a contest for those wonderful hats as well. The event will be held in the International Room at Arlington Park Race Course.

The LJWC Chairpersons for this event are Lori Pressley, Sue Rudolphi and Heather Scheuneman. Tickets for the event are available through any of the chairpersons and will be sold at the price of $95 through April 30.

So gather your friends and join us for "A Day at the Derby" and help the LJWC raise money for this wonderful foundation that touches the lives of so many families.
