Elgin Unitarian church hosts Winter Farmers Market
On Sunday, March 25, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin will host its 11th Winter Farmers Market from 1 to 3 p.m. This is an indoor market. Farmers will be selling high-quality, sustainably produced goods.
Anticipated products include fresh greens, hearty breads, cheeses, beef, pork, poultry, French pastries, honey, milled flours, tomato sauces and salsas, mushrooms, herbal infusions, beauty products, soaps, candles, Fair Trade coffees, teas, chocolates, and more.
Off-season winter farmers markets help sustain local farmers who are committed to sustainable agriculture. Consumers benefit by being able to choose natural food products which are produced locally.
