Crash hold up traffic on I-94 near Deerfield Road

Traffic was stalled on the Tri-State Tollway Wednesday morning for about half an hour, after a woman crashed her vehicle into the median near Deerfield Road around 9:30 a.m. The car caught fire, but no other vehicles were affected. Responders from the Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire District shut down two lanes of traffic to clear the scene, according to Lt. Mark McManaman. The woman was not hurt in the crash.
