Please, candidates, stop the phone calls

To all political parties and their various candidates: While I recognize that you, very cynically, have exempted yourselves from the provisions of the “Do Not Call” legislation, I would like to ask how you can feel that you will convince me that you are going to act in accord with my wishes and best interests when you so blatantly ignore them in regard to this issue?
